Follow-up session of the “Health Equity Course-2023”

Each participant orally shared the brief update on what progress they had made around their action plan and what challenges they have been facing with that. They also tried to help each other in suggesting ways to counter those challenges.

Most of them are trying to take their own plans into action. Some participants changed their approach from Needs-Based approach to Rights-Based Approaches in their health activities. There are also some who did not make a big progress due to lack of support from their organization or other reason.

Everyone supported an idea of developing a Learning Circle of all the alumni of Health Equity Course to keep learning and sharing on specific topics. They said they want to learn how to appropriately apply the specific tools such as “But Why” when engaging with their community. We need to follow up their continued exploring in the Learning Circle. Hopefully, this would be led by the participants themselves.
